The position reports to Marketing Manager.
Plan, develop and synchronize marketing strategies with the help of appointed advertising agencies and vendors to support on-going sales activities in cost effective manner;
Assist in preparation of annual budget for advertising and its media wise break-up to determine spending on ATL and BTL activities during the year;
Submit cost estimates for advertising and promotional activities to management as per ABF on monthly basis;
Issue work orders (signed by the COO) to the vendors for all marketing related activities;
Maintain regular contact with suppliers and advertising agencies to ensure implementation of above and below the line marketing activities after approval of the same from the management;
Monitor and verify invoices with supporting documents i.e.; transmission certificates, newspaper tear sheets for submission to management for payments;
Gather data and compile reports of ongoing marketing activities to see their impact on sales by physically visiting the market and in coordination with sales auditor and sales analyst. Submit these reports on prescribed formats to management for review;
Measure the effectiveness of brand-marketing strategy for periodic review and revision;
Gather data on competitors through field force on prescribed formats to analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution for better brand management;
Plan and coordinate preparation of point of sale and advertising material with Creative Art and Design department;
Coordinate with various departments to develop new brands, variants and revamp existing brands as and when assigned by the management;
Examine finished product of soap division to assess its conformance to set standards and specifications;
Compile and arrange status reports related to production such as production pace, material inventories and vendor's performance for the management; and
Oversee compliance of company's functioning as per requirements of ISO 9001-2000.
